Advertisement Notice posted by the Applicant

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 499)
Public Inspection of Environmental Impact Assessment Report Under Section 7.(1)

     An application for approval of environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Proposed Comprehensive Development at Wo Shang Wai, Yuen Long has been submitted by Profit Point Enterprises Ltd. to the Director of Environmental Protection under section 6.(2) of the EIA Ordinance.

    The EIA report prepared by the applicant is now available for the public to inspect under section 7.(1) of the Ordinance from 14th April 2008 to 13th May 2008 at the following locations:

  1. The EIA Ordinance Register Office, Environmental Protection Department, 27th floor, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Opening hours : Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700, closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays);

  2. Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre, 221 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 1000 to 1700, closed on Tuesdays and Public Holidays);

  3. Tsuen Wan Environmental Resource Centre, Tak Wah Park, Tak Wah Street, Tsuen Wan, New Territories (Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 0930 to 1300, 1400 to 1830 except for Wednesday 1400 to 1830 only, closed on Sundays and Public Holidays);

  4. Fanling Environmental Resource Centre, 2nd floor, Government Accommodations, Grand Regentville, 9 Wo Mun Street, Luen Wo Hui, Fanling, New Territories (Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 1000 to 1700, closed on Mondays and Public Holidays);

  5. Mott Connell Ltd., 7th Floor, West Wing  Office Building, New World Centre, 20 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 0830 to 1800, closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays);

  6. Yuen Long District Office during normal office hours; and  
     
  7. The EIA Ordinance website: (http://www.epd.gov.hk/eia) for the executive summary of the EIA report, 3 days after the date of the first advertisement.

    The public may forward written comments on the EIA report to the Director of Environmental Protection before the public inspection period expires. The comments from the public may be forwarded to the applicant or any relevant parties in the processing of the application.
