at Lantau South Country Park, Nam Shan, Pui O, N.T.

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All measures described in the Project Profile (No. PP-386/2009) submitted by the Applicant on 25 May 2009 shall be fully implemented;

2. Visual and landscape mitigation measures, such as subdue or harmonious colouring scheme for equipment platform and equipment cabinet, landscaping plantings and reinstatement of temporarily affected works areas, shall be implemented for the Project; and

3. All waste, spoil and excavated material, etc. generated by the Project shall be properly managed and shall not be dumped in any environmentally sensitive areas such as country park, special area, conservation area, site of special scientific interest and coastal protection area.

Note

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
