Project Title: Connection of Existing 400kV Transmission Circuit to Lai Chi Kok 400kV Substation

Conditions Imposed under section 5(12) of the Ordinance

For Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All measures described in the Project Profile (No. PP-409/2010) submitted with the application on 2 February 2010 shall be fully implemented.

2. All Artocarpus hypargyreus trees shall be retained in-situ and protected from construction works.

3. A landscape plan, including details of tree preservation and compensatory planting proposals, to be implemented for the project shall be submitted to Director for approval prior to the commencement of works.

Note:

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
