Adopting the following good site practices and follow the dust control requirements of the Air Pollution Control (Construction Dust) Regulation:

·          Stockpiles of imported material kept on site should be contained within hoardings, dampened and / or covered during dry and windy weather;

·          Material stockpiled alongside trenches should be covered with tarpaulins whenever works are close to village houses;

·          Water sprays should be used during the delivery and handling of cement, sands, aggregates and the like.

·          Any vehicle used for moving sands, aggregates and construction waste should have properly fitting side and tail boards. Materials should not be loaded to a level higher than the side and tail boards, and should be covered by a clean tarpaulin.

All proposed pumping stations, sequence batching reactor (SBR) feed pump station and sludge dewatering room would be enclosed and the outlet air from these facilities would be properly treated by deodorization facilities with 99.5% odour removal efficiency before discharge via vent pipes.
