WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ORDINANCE

The Water Pollution Control Ordinance (WPCO) provides for declaration of Water Control Zones (WCZs) to cover the whole of Hong Kong. All trade effluent discharged into a WCZ should be covered by a licence which will specify the maximum amount of pollutants.
