Enclosed please find a report issued by the Centre
of Environmental Technology, Limited under the direction of the
Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Method (HK-BEAM) Steering
Committee. This report aims to develop guidelines for developers,
designers, contractors and building managers to reduce the environmental
impact of new residential buildings using the best available techniques
and within reasonable cost.

2000 to brief Members on the report.
