Kennedy Town Environmental Exhibition Corner
Introduction
|
 Opened to the public in 2008, The Environmental Exhibition Corner is located at the Kennedy Town Community Complex in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. With the new design of the Exhibition Corner, we are able to deliver various kinds of environmental messages to visitors with the display models, exhibition panels and posters. Also, there is a Computer Zone where you can obtain more environmental information from short films, computer games and informative bulletins.

Facilities and Services
|
The Environmental Exhibition Corner, total floor area covering about 108 m2, provides a venue for displaying materials and information relating to environmental protection. There is no EPD staff to provide guided tour or other service, the public are free to visit the exhibition. The facilities of the Exhibition Corner include: an Environmental Panel Display Zone, a Computer Zone, a Model Display Zone and an Environmental Information Zone. |

Environmental Panel Display Zone
|
In the Environmental Panel Display Zone, exhibition panels on different environmental themes are displayed regularly to introduce Government’s policies and directions on protecting the environment.

Computer Zone
 Computer facilities are provided in the Computer Zone where visitors can play computer games and watch films relating to environmental protection and conservation. Public awareness on environmental protection can be enhanced through this interactive approach. Various kinds of endangered species commonly seen in Hong Kong are also listed in this Zone, such as Spangled Shadow-Emerald, Romer’s Tree Frog, Green Turtle, Hong Kong Paradise Fish, Black-faced Spoonbill, Common Birdwing, Burmese Python, Rhesus Macaque and Hong Kong Camellia. |
Model Display Zone
|
In the Model Display Zone, various environmental models, such as LPG light bus and taxi, roadside air monitoring station and refuse transfer station, are exhibited so that visitors can learn more about environmental facilities.

Environmental Information Zone
|
The Environmental Information Zone provides free leaflets and booklets on environmental protection. Visitors are welcome to take them home.
