[1] Fragrances incorporated into a regulated consumer product, up to a combined level of 2% by weight of the product, shall be excluded in calculating the VOC content of the product.

 

[2] Air fresheners, less exempt compounds, if comprising entirely of fragrance are exempted from this Regulation and the VOC limits shall not apply.

 

[3] For floor wax stripper, the limits refer to the VOC content after dilution as calculated according to the dilution ratio specified by the manufacturer of the products.

 

[4] Insecticides containing at least 98% paradichlorobenzene and bait station insecticides are exempted from this Regulation and the VOC limits shall not apply. Bait station insecticides are containers enclosing an insecticidal bait that is not more than 14.2 grams by weight, where the bait is designed to be ingested by insects and is composed of solid material feeding stimulants with less than 5% by weight of active ingredients.
