Non-hazardous Recyclables

Not all kinds of waste is a health threat, nor is it hazardous. Paper, plastic and metal scraps can be recycled into new products and this is a benefit to the environment. Common recyclables are listed under the Sixth Schedule of WDO. The import/export of "uncontaminated" wastes listed in the Sixth Schedule for the purpose of recycling is exempted from the permit control.
