Workshops for Environmental Ambassadors
The Environmental Ambassador Workshop for the new tenure of Environmental Ambassaadors was held at the Conference Room, Administration Building of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon on 15th July 2005.
The purpose of the Environmental Ambassador Workshop is to promote the environmental awareness of the trade. A total of 40 Environmental Ambassadors attended the workshop
The workshop is divided into 4 sections :
The background and development of the collaboration scheme with vehicle repair workshop workshops
Environmental Legislations related to the vehicle repair workshop trade
The application of 5S management concept to small vehicle repair workshops
Sharing experience in managing small and medium sized vehicle repair workshops
An EPD representative introduced the background and development of Environmental Ambassador Programme and the Collaboration Scheme, and the requirements of related environmental legislations
Mr. Y.M. Yung, Chief Instructor of the Automobile Industry Training Centre of the Vocational Training Council talked about the application of 5S management system to small and medium sized vehicle repair workshops
Mr. Ringo Lee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association shared his experience in managing vehicle repair workshops
