Simmons® was founded by Zalmon Gilbert Simmons in 1870. Dedicated to the brand philosophy of "Better Sleep Through Science.", Simmons®’ history of over a hundred years is marked by continuous research and innovation.
The first sleep-related research was commissioned as early as 1925, the same year that witnessed the invention of the machine which enabled the mass production of the world acclaimed Simmons® patented Pocketed Coils.

As an initiative to better herself, Simmons Bedding & Furniture (HK) Ltd has established and implemented ISO 14001 environmental management system in 2008, a breakthrough in the retail industry. The system does not only facilitate goal establishment for continuous improvements, it is also effective in promoting the environmental awareness across the company. Since the system implementation, it is encouraging to learn that staff members are more environmental conscious in resources consumption.
