Meco Engineering Limited has been serving in Building Services system including Design, Supply,
Installation, Commissioning,
Testing and Maintenance of Electrical, MVAC, Fire Services and Plumbing & Drainage Installation since 1978.

Meco was certified to the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System Standard in 1997. In 2010, Meco was successfully  certified to both OHSAS 18001: 2007 Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001: 2001 Environmental Management System (EMS) by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency.

All Meco operations are carried out with consideration of the environmental impact they may have and we have put in place an Environmental Management System (EMS) to monitor the compliance with the relevant environmental legislation and performance.

Meco is committed to continual improvement of our environmental performance by educating, training and motivating team members and associates to carry out tasks in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. This encouragement is extended to our suppliers and subcontractors. We have even invested in
researching and developing green technologies such as LED lighting solutions and office automation processes.

Our actions have resulted in operating cost efficiencies through reduced power consumption, reduced expenditure on consumables such as photocopying supplies, bottled water, and paper. Less tangible but probably more important is the mindset instilled in our team members; through our efforts to be socially and environmentally conscious we have a team of responsible and aware individuals who serve as great ambassadors for Meco and for Hong Kong.

We shall continue our initiatives to reduce waste and minimize our carbon footprint and will seek new technologies and methods to conduct our business in a socially responsible manner.
