Company Background

Kiu Lok Services Management Co., Ltd. (KLSM) has been awarded the ISO 14001 certification by the Det Norske Veritas (DNV), for the successful implementation of the Environmental Management System in Year 2004. Being a leading firm to provide quality services for properties in Hong Kong and Mainland China, we are committed to continual improvement by setting ambitious environmental targets and implementation plans to enhance our performance in all environmental aspects, as well as overseeing the integration of environmental considerations with the Group’s decision making processes and undertaking regular reviews of the policy to cater for the future.

Road to Certification

To instill the Group’s philosophy of being customer focused and the corporate culture of constantly striving for excellence and to realize our commitment towards improving the environment through our operations, an Environmental Committee has therefore been established in Year 2003 to head up the development. Environmental Policy, Objectives and Targets have also been developed in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements in the same year. By August 2004, KLSM obtained the ISO 14001 certificate a few months after the launch of its EMS, after its ISO 9000 certification awarded in Year 2003.

Putting Customer First

The certification not only helps us measure our environmental management system against international best practices, but also helps us to be in control of and successfully manage the most significant environmental aspects, e.g. emissions, waste-handling, utilize natural resources, and energy-efficiency. It also indicates that the needs of external parties are considered in our environmental commitments and to assure our clients of the best value for their money on the services we provided.
