4. Is the Stockholm Convention applicable to the HKSAR?
The People's Republic of China (PRC) signed the Stockholm Convention on May 23, 2001 and ratified the Convention on August 13, 2004. The Stockholm Convention became effective to the PRC, including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), on November 11, 2004.
