Sewerage Works at Penny's Bay and Yam O

The Chief Executive in Council has authorised the sewerage works at Penny's Bay and am O, North Lantau in relation to the infrastructure for Penny's Bay Development.

The sewerage scheme covers the construction of sewerage works in Penny's Bay and Yam O which will serve the development in Penny's Bay in Northeast Lantau including Hong Kong Disneyland.

Construction of the sewerage works will start in the end of 2001. The completion of the works will tie in with the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland.
