Of the total expenditure of $ 7.324 billion on departmental activities in 2021 under General Revenue Account, 20.2% was for staff costs, 24.4% for general recurrent expenses, 21.7% for capital and non-recurrent expenditure and 33.7% for fees for the operation of waste management facilities.
