Lead Content, Cadmium Content, Mercury Content, Arsenic Content, Selenium Content and Hexavalent Chromium Content have been tested in accordance with USEPA method 3051A/7000B, 3051A/7471B, 3051A/7061A, 3051A/7741A, 3060A/7196A respectively.
The gypsum blocks have been tested in accordance with Europe and China standards, and are suitable for construction industry.

R-panel System

R-panel is an invented product by LSI in HK. The panel wall is made up of gypsum, rockwool or polystyrene and mesh fabric. The panel is manufactured by L S International Building Materials Ltd in our Dongguan factory in China. |
Application |
R-panel is a partitioning system used for replacing brick wall, block wall, gypsum block wall, gypsum board wall, Ytong panel wall or any dry wall system. R-panel (590kg/m3) is lighter than Ytong, (683kg/m3) and is the lightest drywall system in the market. It use less materials but achieving sound insulation, fire rating, impact resistant, carry load on anywhere of wall surface, taking crowd pressure, building great height without steel post requirement. Below all some of the main points why R-panel is better replacement system. |

This light weight panel wall system is very different from the traditional compression wall types. It looks similar to gypsum board wall yet no steel frame support is required. it appears the same as gypsum block wall but we are lighter, stronger, easier to erect and taking impact and bending moment. The following is the summary of some advantages. It is seismic proof as well.
1. Lightweight means to allow saving on the structural floor and footing reinforcement. Early specified use on R-panel can allow saving on reinforcement when compare with block wall. We are only 1/4.5 weight of the masonry wall and even lighter than Ytong panel.
2. Easy construction means you save on construction time, past project saves months of construction time when compared with gypsum board or masonry wall construction. No plastering is required for fast and clean construction. 2 panels make up to 1 m2 different from 3 or 4 gypsum block to 1m2.
3. Impact and vandal proof as it re-distribute impact load. R-panel resists 5-lb hammering which only damage the external surface skin.
4. Carry load at all surface including joint location as R-panel is seamless. No joint problems! Therefore, LS80RW provides less water absorption and penetration when compared with gypsum block and masonry wall.
5. No lintel required for openings because R-panel has the built-in fabric structural element which provides the ductile behavior similar to RC wall.
6. Use less materials as every elements in our system carries special function.
7. Built for great height. 80mm R-panel at 6m high wall still takes 1.5kN/m high crowd pressure even without 2 vertical side post. No masonry wall can do the same! Super safe product. For 3kN/m crowd pressure, you simply need to add cruciform steel (use only 1/2 weight of steel section as required by masonry or gypsum block wall for the same height) Since the steel is buried inside the wall system, fire test confirms no FRP protection is required on steel; different from the masonry or gypsum block wall. Or use 100mm R-panel instead.
8. 80mm LS80R and 100mm LS100R gives you 2hrs FRP. We have LS100PE provides 4 hrs FRP.
9. 80mm LS80R gives you STC40 and LS100R gives you STC45, better than normal 2-side plastered 100mm masonry wall.
10. No wall tie or mechanical fixing is required for R-panel installation, different from all other wall systems.
11. Thinner wall means you have more usable floor area without sacrifice safety, noise and fire protection.
12. No penetration of power actuated nail means you have better safety protection than gypsum block or masonry block wall as both cannot provide the same.
R-panel is thin and lightweight, yet provides a total physical protection from the surrounding environment on safety, noise, fire, thermal and power actuated nails better than any other wall types.

Ramada Inn 2008. This was a renovation project turning an office building into hotel development. R-panel used belongs to the first generation product, using about 26,000 m2 as room, hallway and toilet partitions.
This is used for replacing gypsum board and normal block works.
Airport Marriott Hotel 2009. This was a new hotel development project. Second generation of improved design was adopted. It was used for replacing 248mm thick gypsum board wall as designed with STC48 requirement. 2 layer of 60mm thick R-panels were used in total 140mm thick with STC54. Much benefits were gained in the project.
Fast construction : R-panel was installed quickly, estimated saving on time for 2 ½ months.
Floor area saving : 248-140 = 108mm times total wall length for floor saving up to 2000m2.
Sound insulation improvement from STC48 to 54! Huge geometrical increase.
No lintel is required for opening.
No plastering is required before painting.
Cut panel can be reused.
Less rubbish on job site.

The core of the product is made from shredded and compressed composite packaging, wood fibre and plastics, giving the user a sustainable and superior performing product.
