Progress
Emissions caps will continue to be imposed on power stations during renewal of their licences. For vehicles and VOCs, legislation was introduced in 2006 to tighten emission standards for newly registered vehicles to Euro IV standards, and a regulation was tabled in the Legislative Council to control VOCs in paints, printing inks and selected consumer products.
