Display of certificate of registration
A registered retailer shall be issued with a certificate of registration in respect of each of his registered retail outlets. The registered retailer shall ensure that the certificate of registration is displayed in a prominent position of the registered retail outlet to which the certificate relates.
Failure to display
A registered retailer who, without reasonable excuse, does not display the certificate of registration in the manner as required above commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine of $5,000.

Improper display of certificate of registration
A person shall not-
- display a certificate of registration at a place that is not a registered retail outlet to which the certificate relates; or
- display a certificate of registration that has been forged, falsified or cancelled at any place.
A person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes the above, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine of $50,000. |
