The "Roving Exhibition on Persistent Organic Pollutants" organized by EPD is being held from 7 November 2011 to 12 March 2012, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the signatory of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and enhance public awareness on POPs. Through this exhibition activity, the general public will gain a better understanding of the efforts by various government departments in the management of POPs and also how our daily lifestyle would help reduce the impact of POPs on the environment and human health. Green Hong Kong‧Carbon Audit campaign is striding into its second year. More and more organizations have joined the campaign as the Carbon Audit‧Green Partners. We set up a Chinese website named "Carbon Reduction‧Every Step Counts" to introduce how 15 of our Carbon Audit‧Green Partners from different sectors reduce their emissions in real life. In order to provide full support and participation of the community to enhance the energy efficiency of the whole society, there is a need to complement the Buildings Energy Efficiency Funding Schemes by encouraging eligible NGOs to participate in energy conservation initiatives.
