Animal Carcasses "Animal carcasses" include animal dead bodies (intact, or parts); offal; condemned meat . At present animal carcasses are mainly disposed of at designated landfills managed by EPD through an admission ticket system and a very small amount is cremated. The current daily arising of animal carcasses is about 18 tonnes. Animal carcasses are typically generated from the following major sources : AFCD's animal management centres (kennels) livestock farms private and public veterinary clinics slaughterhouses street collections Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Hong Kong Jockey Club Ocean Park
