Description of the CWTC

Preventative Maintenance Programme and Emergency Response Plan

Regular maintenance on all treatment processing units is conducted on a continuous basis, using specialised instruments and equipment. A Preventative Maintenance Programme is adopted to ensure safe and efficient operation.

There is also an Emergency Response Plan to provide explicit description of the response procedures to copy with different emergency situations thus minimising hazards to human health or the environment from fire, explosions or any spillage of hazardous waste constituents to air, soil or surface water.
