Habitat/Vegetation

Habitat and vegetation surveys were performed to establish the ecological profile of habitat and vegetation within the Study Area. A total of 124 plant species were recorded. A habitat map of the Study Area is shown below. Of these habitats, shrubland has moderate ecological value. The remaining habitats are of low or low to moderate ecological value with the ecological value of disturbed/developed area as negligible. Part of the Extension Site has encroached into the existing CWBCP which comprises shrubland (4.6 ha), grassland (0.1 ha) and disturbed/developed area (0.4) habitats.
