Application for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

Project Title: Yuen Long South Pumping Station, Main to Castle Peak Road and Sewers
(For PWP Item No. 4157DS/B - Yuen Long and Kam Tin Sewerage, Stage II, Phase 2)

Conditions of Approval to Apply Directly for an Environmental Permit
Date of the Director's Notice of Decision : 20 January 2000


  1. The Applicant shall ensure that the project will not disturb the historical buildings at Tin Liu Tsuen: Gate House, Worshipping Hall, [Tin Liu Tsuen Nos. 20, 22, 27, 30, 61-64, 84&85, 96&97, 98A, 98&99];

  2. Neutral colors shall be adopted for external finishes of the buildings/structures. The Applicant shall submit, prior to application for Environmental Permit, a set of landscape plans and building elevations of the proposed pumping station for the Director's agreement; and

  3. The Applicant shall implement all environmental mitigation measures identified in the Project Profile and/or proposed to the Director as required under conditions 1 to 2 above.




Note
If the applicant is aggrieved by any of the above conditions, he or she may appeal to the Appeal Board under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance within 30 days of receipt of the notice of decision.
