Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the Ordinance for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

  1. To mitigate residual ecological impacts, compensatory planting shall be enhanced to provide at least 1 to 1 compensation for felled trees and removed shrubland/grassland.

  2. No disturbance shall be made to the historical buildings no. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the ancestral hall in Lung Mei Tsuen.

  3. All measures described in the Project Profile submitted with your application of 16 December 1999, together with the above conditions, shall be fully implemented.


Under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director's decision.
