Public Inspection of Environmental Impact 
Assessment Report under Section 7.(1)

An application for approval of environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Dredging Works for Proposed Cruise Terminal at Kai Tak has been submitted by Civil Engineering and Development Department to the Director of Environmental Protection under section 6.(2) of the EIA Ordinance.

The EIA report prepared by the applicant is now available for the public to inspect under section 7.(1) of the Ordinance from 18 October 2007 to 16 November 2007 at the following locations:

  1. The EIA Ordinance Register Office, Environmental Protection Department, 27th floor, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Opening hours : Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700, closed on Public Holidays);
  2. Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre, 221 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 1000 to 1700, closed on Tuesdays and Public Holidays);
  3. Tsuen Wan Environmental Resource Centre, Tak Wah Park, Tak Wah Street, Tsuen Wan, New Territories (Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 0930 to 1300, 1400 to 1830 except for Wednesday 1400 to 1830);
  4. Fanling Environmental Resource Centre, 2nd floor, Government Accommodations, Grand Regentville, 9 Wo Mun Street, Luen Wo Hui, Fanling, New Territories (Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 1000 to 1700, closed on Mondays and Public Holidays);
  5. Civil Engineering and Development Department, Kowloon Development Office, 7th floor, Empire Centre, 68 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon  (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 0830 to 1745, closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays);
  6. Kowloon City District Office, Rooms 1706-1713, One Harbourfront, 18-22 Tak Fung Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon during normal office hours;
  7. Wong Tai Sin District Office, 6/F, Lung Cheung Office Block, 138 Lung Cheung Road, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon during normal office hours;
  8. Kwun Tong District Office, 3/F, Kwun Tong District Branch Offices Building, 6 Tung Yan Street,  Kwun Tong, Kowloon during normal office hours;
  9. Eastern District Office, 11/F, Eastern Law Courts Building, 29 Tai On Street, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong, during normal office hours; and

The public may forward written comments on the EIA report to the Director of Environmental Protection before the public inspection period expires. The comments from the public may be forwarded to the applicant or any relevant parties in the processing of the application.
