ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 499)
Public Inspection of Environmental Impact Assessment Report
under Section 7. (1)
An application for approval of environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the A Rooftop Helipad at the Proposed New Block of Queen Mary Hospital has been submitted by Food and Health Bureau to the Director of Environmental Protection under section 6. (2) of the EIA Ordinance.
The EIA report prepared by the applicant is now available for the public to inspect under section 7. (1) of the Ordinance from 3 February 2017 to 4 March 2017 at the following locations:
i. The EIA Ordinance Register Office, Environmental Protection Department, 27th floor, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700, closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays);
Environmental Resource Centre, 221 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai,
iii. Fanling Environmental Resource Centre, 2nd floor, Government Accommodations, Grand Regentville, 9 Wo Mun Street, Luen Wo Hui, Fanling, New Territories (Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 0930 to 1700, closed on Sunday and Public Holidays);
iv. Food and Health Bureau, 18/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 0845 to 1800, closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays); and
v. Southern District Office, 1/F., Ocean Court, 3 Aberdeen Praya Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 0900 to 1900, closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).
The EIA report will also be uploaded to the EIA Ordinance website (http://www.epd.gov.hk/eia).
The public may seek clarification or assistance in understanding the EIA report from the Food and Health Bureau at 3509 8958 or the Architectural Services Department at 2867 3908 during office hours (Monday to Friday 0900 to 1800, closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays). The public may forward written comments on the EIA report to the Director of Environmental Protection on environmental issues covered by the Technical Memorandum on EIA Process before the public inspection period expires. The Technical Memorandum can be obtained from the EIA Ordinance Register office or the EIA Ordinance website.
