Project Title: Modifications to MTRC Mong Kok Station Entrances C3 & C4

 

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

 

 

 

1.         An Environmental Monitoring & Audit programme shall be established for the construction of the project.

 

2.            Construction noise mitigation plan(s) shall be submitted to show the location and duration of the noise mitigation measures including, but not limited to, temporary hoardings, noise barriers and noise enclosures to be provided on site.

 

3.         The visual impact of the hoardings, barriers and enclosures shall be mitigated by the use of suitable colour schemes, and the landscape impact of the pedestrian area after the demolition of entrance C3 shall be reinstated with proper landscape treatment, such as paving or planting.

 

4.         All measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the applicant on 7 January 2003, together with those requirements mentioned in the above conditions, shall be fully implemented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note:

Under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
