Application for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

Project Title: Yuen Long, Kam Tin, Ngau Tam Mei and Tin Shui Wai Drainage Improvement, Stage 1, Phase 2B – Kam Tin – Secondary Drainage Channels KT14 & KT15

 

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

 

 

1.          All measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the Applicant on 31 August 2005 shall be fully implemented.

 

2.          The Applicant shall construct the proposed channels in accordance with the design in Figures 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 of the Project Profile for the ecological enhancement.

 

3.          The Applicant shall submit the landscape and visual mitigation plan (including the tree survey results, the tree transplanting and tree compensation plan, the landscape plan, the design and chromatic scheme of site hoarding, noise barriers and any other structures proposed in the Project) to the Director for approval at least three months before commencement of construction.

 

 

 

 

 

Note

 

Under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against the above condition within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
