Application for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

Project Title : Proposed Installation of Integrated Mobile Phone Base Station in Sai Wan Shan, Sai Kung East Country Park, Sai Kung, New Territories

 

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

 

1.      All measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the Applicant on 13 August 2009 shall be fully implemented;

 

2.      No haul road shall be constructed and all construction materials shall be delivered to the site either manually or by helicopter.

 

3.      All affected “Enkianthus quinqueflorus” within the site shall be transplanted to a specified location.

 

4.      Visual and landscape mitigation measures, including the use of “Antique” (B.S.10B25 or Pantone 462U) or similar colour for the transmission pole and planting of 50 new native trees and shrubs at a specified location shall be implemented.

 

5.      All disturbed areas shall be restored with grassing and/or replanting of species to match with vegetation found in the vicinity.

 

 

Note

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
