Project Title: Drainage Improvement in Big Wave Bay

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All measures as described in the Project Profile (No. PP-418/2010) submitted by the Project Proponent on 5 August 2010 shall be fully implemented.

2. Construction works shall be carried out in the dry season (i.e. November to March).

3. An independent checker shall be employed to audit the implementation of all mitigation measures recommended in the Project Profile and to confirm in writing in the monthly audit report full implementation of the mitigation measures.

Note

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against the above conditions within 30 days of receipt of the notice of the Director’s decision.
