Calculation of sound pressure levels at the NSR due to Filling Trucks
Equation D6 of BS 5228 "Method for mobile plant using a regular well defined route" is adopted
LAeq = SWL - 33 + 10logQ - 10logV - 10logd
For roadwork EXCEPT ROAD P2 and site development, 4 Dump Trucks per hour was assumed in the assessment
Assume the speed of the Dump Trucks are 50 km/hr.
The distance (d) of receiving position from the centre of haul road is assumed as same as the distance from notional source
The sound power level of a dump truck = 117 dB(A)
For Reclamation, 11 Filling Trucks per hour on each sub-area;
Assume the speed of the Filling Trucks are 50 km/hr.
The distance (d) of receiving position from the centre of haul road is assumed as same as the distance from notional source
The sound power level of Filling Trucks = 117 dB(A)
