The Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works – Stage V (the Project) aims to upgrade the existing Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works (TPSTW) to cope with developments in and expansion of the catchment area.
The Project is a Designated Project under the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (EIAO). The purpose of the EIA study is to provide information on the nature and extent of potential environmental impacts arising from the construction and operation of the proposed project and to recommend mitigation measures to limit the potential impacts within acceptable levels.
