7. FISHERIES

7.1 Introduction

7.1.1 The EIA concluded that potential impacts on capture fisheries, oyster farming and pond culture in Lau Fau Shan and Inner Deep Bay are considered insignificant. No mitigation is required and the residual impact is considered acceptable.

7.2 Monitoring and Audit

7.2.1 Other than the water quality monitoring programme during construction phase, no specific fisheries EM&A programme would be required.
