11.1.1.1 The “Guidelines for Development Projects in Hong Kong Environmental Monitoring and Audit” recommends that the termination of EM&A programme shall be determined on the following basis:

Completion of construction activities and insignificant environmental
impacts of the remaining outstanding construction works;
·
Trends analysis to demonstrate the narrow down of monitoring
exceedances due to construction activities and, return of ambient environmental
conditions in comparison with baseline data; and
·
No environmental complaint and prosecution involved.
11.1.1.2 The EM&A programme of the Drainage Improvement Works at Ngong Ping will be ceased based on the above conditions.
