WASTE DISPOSAL ORDINANCE

The Waste Disposal Ordinance, Cap. 354 provides legislative control on pollution caused by all forms of wastes such as livestock wastes, chemical waste etc.. It provides the statutory framework for the planning, management and control of wastes in Hong Kong.

• Activities which produce / dispose chemical wastes
• Facility which carries out the disposal of chemical waste
• Activities which produce / collect / dispose of clinical waste
• Activities which involve the import or export of waste
• Facilities which store, treat, reprocess or recycle e-waste
• Facilities which store, treat, reprocess or recycle glass container waste
