The terms of reference of the Advisory Committee on Countryside Conservation are as follows:
a. to advise on the priorities for the conservation and revitalisation works proposals to be carried out by the Countryside Conservation Office (CCO);
b. to advise on the policy and matters relating to the overall administration, operation and funding approach of the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme which supports educational, research, promotional and/or rehabilitation projects and activities to promote nature conservation and revitalisation of the rural countryside areas; and
c. to advise on any other matters relating to countryside conservation as referred by the CCO.
