Examples of Environmentally Friendly Drainage Channel Designs Arising from Environmental Impact Assessments

Preface

PhotoThis document was produced as a result of discussions at the EIA Sub-committee of the Advisory Council on the Environment on the environmental design of drainage channels. It summarizes the environmentally friendly design measures recommended in the five EIA studies on drainage channels. The main objective is to build on the experiences and to provide a reference document for those working on such projects in the future. It is very much hoped that the designs in this document will set examples for all future similar or related projects.
