3. Guidances on Environmental consideration of RPIS Minor Projects

Village Access Roads/ Footpaths / Footbridges

 

3.7 For vehicular access, 5 m buffer between the edge of carriageway and air sensitive receivers should be allowed as far as practicable.
   
3.8 Should construction of new access is required, the new alignment should avoid important habitats such as woodland and wetland as far as practicable. The requirement for extensive site formation works, massive retaining wall and slope cutting should also be avoided. For access improvement works, the existing alignment should be followed as far as practicable.
