Environmental Protection Department collaborated with Greeners Action, Wan Chai District Council, Hysan Place launched a half year “Wan Chai District Food Waste Reduction Program” on 17 July 2014. Five major shopping malls in the district including Hysan Place, Hang Lung Fashion Walk, Windsor House, World Trade Centre and Timesquare showed a great support on the program and delivered “Save Food” message to public.

We are honored to invite Ms Lee Kwun Yee, Chairlady of Development, Planning & Transport Committee under Wan Chai District Council gave an opening speech and shared food waste recycling community work in Wan Chai District. A series of activities such Save Food Diners Instant Win, Food Waste Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Exhibition and “Big Waster” Visit will be organized in Hysan Place and Wan Chai District. 

Not but not least, The “No Leftover” Program was started on the same day, from 17 July to 31 Aug 2014. More than 180 restaurants participated in the program. To get more information, please visit .
