Delivering unacceptable waste to a RTS |
- Refuse the vehicle to dispose of waste at a RTS
- If the unacceptable waste has been discharged into the hopper, the waste collector shall be responsible for the clear up
- Issue verbal / written warning

Overloading of a vehicle

- If the Gross Vehicle Weight of a vehicle exceeds its respective Permitted Gross Vehicle Weight, the vehicle shall be rejected from entering a RTS.
- The rejected vehicle shall not be allowed to dispose of waste at the RTS within 60 minutes after being rejected. The use of refuse transfer service of this vehicle may also be limited. If the overloading practice continue, the registration of that registered account-holder may be revoked.
- Issue monthly warning letter to those account-holders with overloading record

In general: 10 km/hr
Tipping hall & weighbridge: 5 km/hr
Vehicle wash: 3 km/hr

Serious / Multiple Records of Misbehaviour at RTSs
Under the Regulation, any breach of the terms and conditions of the Service Conditions in relation to any registered account-holder or his registered vehicle, the Environmental Protection Department may revoke the registration of that registered account-holder, such that all his registered vehicles could not use the refuse transfer service.
