The Appointment Ceremony of Environmental Ambassadors of a new tenure was held at the Auditorium, Jockey Club Environmental Building, G/F., Kowloon Tong.

Mr. Benny Wong, Assistant Director of the Environmental Protection Department (EPD), conferred appointment certificates to Environmental Ambassadors. A total of 55 trade practitioners have been nominated by the two major trade associations (The Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association and the Environmental Vehicle Repairers Association) to serve as Environmental Ambassadors for this tenure.

To promote the environmental awareness of the trade, a presentation was made of the application of high-volume-low-pressure spray gun - an environmental friendly and economical paint spraying technique.
