The appointment ceremony for Environmental Ambassador for the new tenure was held at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee), 30 Renfew Road, Kowloon Tong on 21st June 2007.

Mr. Benny Wong, Assistant Director of the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) attended the ceremony and conferred appointment certificates to Environmental Ambassadors. There are 64 trade practitioners nominated by either the Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association or the Enviornmental Vehicle Repairer Association to serve as Environmental Ambassadors.
