Business Facilitation Office of the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) was invited by the Department of Hotel, Service and Tourism Studies of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan) to give a talk to the participants of their Professional Diploma Course in Chinese Restaurant Management on 31 October 2005. The topic of the talk was "Towards Green Restaurant". The participants were briefed on the environmental legislations, related green management measures and latest pollution control technologies so as to enable the trade to take a further step towards green restaurant.
