On 21 Jan 2009, the Business Facilitation Office of the EPD was invited by the Department of Hotel, Service and Tourism Studies of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan) to offer a presentation on "Green Restaurant – Environmental Management of the Restaurant Trade" to the participants of the Professional Diploma Course in Chinese Restaurant Management. The talk covered the Restaurant Partnership Programme, experience sharing of green restaurants and food processing factories, environmental management systems for enhancing the environmental performance of the restaurant trade.
