"Green Restaurants and Retailers" Seminar

To promote green management, a seminar on "Green Restaurants and Retailers", which was jointly organized by Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA), the Association for Hong Kong Catering Services Management, Ltd. (HKCSM), Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), was successfully held on 1 June 2010 at Function Room AC1, 4/F, Administration Building of Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The seminar attracted over 100 participants from the restaurant, retailer and other related trades.

In the seminar, EPD representatives presented the environmental legislative requirements related to the trades and Environmental Levy Scheme on Plastic Shopping Bags and provided the information on environmental management and measures to the trades for their reference. In addition, the other guest speakers shared their practical knowledge and successful experience in implementing environmental management.
