In formulating our business strategy for the future it was deemed essential that we implemented a structured Environmental Management System (EMS) and have third party accreditation. The ISO14001 framework fitted well into our strategy of continuous improvement on our environmental impact and with our business objectives in general. Our EMSwas developed in-house to be fully integrated into our daily operations and has proved itself an essential management tool as we strive for a sustainable future within our business framework.
Implementation of any new system of management is an often difficult process but the benefits achieved with ISO14001 has made all the effort worthwhile.
