GREEN$ Mobile App is developed by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Its primary function is to facilitate the public to participate the GREEN$ Electronic Participation Incentive Scheme (ePIS) using smartphone. Members of the GREEN$ ePIS will earn GREEN$ for redemption of gift items when submitting recyclables at Recycling Stations, Recycling Stores and Recycling Spots for clean recycling.

Real time broadcasting of the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) reported by the 15 general and 3 roadside air monitoring stations operated by the Environmental Protection Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. AQHI is reported on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10+ and grouped into five Health Risk Categories: Low, Moderate, High, Very High and Serious.
This App provides the following features and air quality information -
- Forecast of Health Risk Category of general and roadside monitoring stations
- AQHI of each monitoring station and their trends in the past 24 hours
- Air pollutant concentrations of each monitoring station and their trends in the past 24 hours
