wepaHong Kong Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association

HKWPEA is a non-profit organization established in September 1996 under the initiatives of a group of local women professionals. The Association was created with the missions to enhance professional standard, training and business opportunities and consolidate mutual support for the members. It also aims at developing networking opportunities for women executives and entrepreneurs in business and professions in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas.

HKWPEA has organized an array of local and overseas activities to contribute to the economic development of Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland as well as to address a number of public issues. The major activities include: trips, seminars, overseas activities and Government policy consultations.

hkedsHong Kong Employment Development Service

Hong Kong Employment Development Service is a non-profit making organization and is committing to:

  • providing quality employment counseling, job matching and placement service and training programmes;
  • offering consultancy service on developing human resources in different trades and industries;
  • recommending suitable employees to employers of different trades and industries.

At present, HKEDS has developed a client base locally in Eastern Kowloon, Tuen Mun and Yuen Long districts. In the year of 2003/04, more than 15,000 persons had used its employment services and attended training courses.

Incorporated by the Professional Accountants Ordinances (Chapter 50 of the Laws of Hong Kong) on 1 January 1973, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (the Institute) is the only statutory licensing body of accountants in Hong Kong responsible for regulation of the accountancy profession.

ZontaZonta Club of Hong Kong II

At present, there are 5 Zonta clubs established in Hong Kong. Chartered in May 2002, Zonta Club of Hong Kong II has been set up with enthusiastic young women serving in the financial, manufacturing, retail, legal, accounting, design, technology and real estate sectors. Many of our members have experience in organizing social services and volunteer work in their respective churches, alumni clubs, youth centres, and other non-profit organizations.

Zonta Club of Hong Kong II has continuously initiated service projects for the benefits of the community such as providing mentoring sessions to young people and dropout students, initiating a creative art class project for primary school students, as well as organizing service visits to rehabilitation centres.

YEOYoung Entrepreneurs' Organization-Hong Kong Chapter Ltd.

Young Entrepreneur's Organization (YEO) Hong Kong Chapter was incorporated in 1995. The mission of YEO is to support, educate and encourage young entrepreneurs to succeed in developing and growing their companies and themselves.

YEO members strive not only to be successful in their businesses but also to be involved in their community. With access to leading education programs, business leaders and peer experience, members can communicate and interact with one another who share similar drives, goals and visions.

yicYoung Industrialists Council Youth Chapter

The YIC Youth Chapter, founded by the second generation of YIC members, is inaugurated on December 18, 2003.

The Chapter mission is to provide a platform for members to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen their network among young industrialists. Through regular meetings, seminars, factory visits, social activities and gatherings, we hope to broaden their horizon and to enrich themselves with different industry exposures in preparing to become future leaders in their industries.
