To enhance students' awareness of environmental protection, broaden their horizons, increase their English proficiency, research and computer skills, the Lions International Youth Exchange 2003 Qualifying Competition is being organized by the Lions Clubs International, District 303 - Hong Kong & Macau, Lions Club of Braemar Hill, Association of English Medium Secondary Schools and the Environmental Protection Department.
The Competition will select 50 outstanding Form 4 - 7 students to participate in Lions International Youth Exchange at some 50 cities in North America, Europe and Asia in 2003 summer.
The top 10 students will receive a full Exchange Scholarship covering registration fees, return air tickets, camp and home stay during exchange. The other 40 students will be entitled to participate in the exchange programme at their own expenses. Free family hosting will be provided by Lions Clubs at the destination of exchange.
